My husband and I decided to spend our 4th year wedding anniversary in Reno, NV. There are easy ways but we chose the longer routes which included the Highway 395 for scenic views and it paid off. It was a long drive but the views are just amazing, small towns that range from only 20 to 300 population, ghost towns, fields (lots of fields), country views, high deserts and spectacular snowcapped mountains. The trip also included some suicidal deers, chipmunks, and birds which added fun to the driving.
Must haves: GPS and California Map
